Overview
In this role you own end-to-end valuation modelling for Credit Card and FlexiPay products, turning complex data into actionable insights for pricing and portfolio strategy. You’ll build forward-looking models (lifetime value, unit economics, loss forecasting) and collaborate with Credit Risk, Finance and Product to reflect performance and macro trends. You’ll contribute to month-end/quarter-end closes with clear narratives for senior stakeholders. This is a high-impact, autonomous role in a mission-driven fintech that backs UK small businesses.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end valuation modelling for Credit Card & FlexiPay products
- Build and maintain forward-looking models: lifetime value, unit economics, loss forecasting
- Collaborate with Credit Risk, Finance, and Product to reflect latest data and macro assumptions
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes with commentary for leadership
- Provide clear, structured narratives of analyses for non-technical audiences
- Stress-test assumptions with large datasets to ensure robust models
Key requirements
- Strong experience in financial modelling or valuations within SME lending or consumer credit
- Attention to detail with proactive deviation detection and model updating
- Experience with large datasets and ability to stress-test assumptions
- SQL or Python required; strong Excel skills
- Clear communicator able to distill complex analysis for non-technical audiences
