Venue & Studio Deployments System Engineer, Event Productions

Overview

As a Live Event & Broadcast Studio Deployment Engineer, you will design, deploy and commission production systems for global live events and studio spaces. You’ll scale archetypal technical schematics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage integration partners to meet high customer demand. You drive optimization of hardware placement for acoustics and visuals while coordinating with architectural and trades teams. This role blends hands-on deployment with thoughtful documentation and continuous product improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of live event and studio production system designs using hardware and software components
• Communicate professionally with internal and external partner teams
• Engage operations teams to identify operational efficiencies
• Commission deployments of live and studio production system designs
• Lead commissioning through User Acceptance Testing
• Collaborate to right-size system designs per deployment
• Coordinate with architectural and trades teams toward delivery
• Track, maintain, and communicate delivery timelines
• Maintain and update product system documentation packages
• Create product standards documentation including BOMs, SOPs, drawings, and code/config files
• Conduct research, develop test plans, and evaluate emerging broadcast technologies
• Publish product standards for new products developed

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration
• Experience working with Linux
• Experience in systems engineering
• Experience with Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell or equivalent
