Senior Fire Design Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Fire Design Engineer, you will lead the development of sustainable fire protection solutions for major UK and international projects across commercial, residential, healthcare and mixed-use sectors. You will work from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with CIBSE, ASHRAE and UK fire legislation. Responsibilities

• Design fire protection solutions in line with CIBSE/ASHRAE standards
• Manage projects from concept through to completion
• Contribute to large UK and international projects across multiple sectors
• Ensure compliance with fire legislation and UK building regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, sustainable designs
• Mentor and support junior engineers as needed

Key requirements

• 5 years fire design experience within a consultancy or contractor
• Degree in Fire Engineering
• Proficiency with PyroSim and CFAST
• Good working knowledge of UK and international building codes
