Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services (MEP)

Overview

As an Electrical Design Engineer in Stantec’s MEP team, you will lead technical delivery of electrical design for multi-disciplinary building projects. You will produce high-quality deliverables and support project commercial success through timely invoicing and resource planning. You will mentor graduates and apprentices, shaping the skills of our next generation of engineers. Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day electrical design delivery on multi-disciplinary projects
• Oversee production of specifications, drawings, and schedules
• Support project commercial performance via invoicing, WIP management, and workload planning
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to their career development
• Collaborate with architects and other disciplines to integrate electrical solutions

Key requirements

• Proven UK experience as an Electrical Engineer delivering electrical and M&E solutions across varied building sectors
• Familiarity with BIM processes and Revit
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teamwork
• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or building services
• Chartered status or active progression towards it
