Job Description Our client is looking for an ambitious and proactive individual to join their Payroll Department on a permanent, full-time basis at their spacious offices in Mitcheldean. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing payroll experience or further develop their career within a supportive, collaborative and professional environment. n In this role, you’ll support the Processing Manager with the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and customer margin payments, as well as the generation of associated invoicing. You’ll play a key part in ensuring payroll processes are completed efficiently, compliantly and to a high standard while delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders. n To be successful, you’ll have a good understanding of payroll processes and procedures, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills with the confidence to work effectively as part of a team and across the wider organisation. n Responsibilities: n -Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time. n -Administer new starters, leavers, tax codes, statutory deductions, pensions and payroll adjustments. n -Ensure compliance with HMRC, CIS, RTI, pension auto-enrolment and internal payroll procedures. n -Produce invoices, reconcile payroll and financial data, and investigate any discrepancies. n -Process customer margin payments, service fees and financial adjustments while maintaining accurate audit records. n -Support payroll compliance activities, including contractor and umbrella company checks. n -Complete monthly and year-end payroll activities. n -Maintain accurate payroll records, documentation and reporting across multiple systems. n -Assist with additional payroll and processing duties as required by the Payroll & Processing Manager. n Candidate Attributes: n -Previous experience in payroll administration or payroll processing. n -Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy. n -Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload n -Strong communication and customer service skills. n -Confidence working with payroll systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. n -A proactive, team-focused approach n Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm n Salary & Benefits: n -Up to £32,000 per annum depending on experience n -22 days holiday plus bank holidays and an additional day off for your birthday n -Annual leave increasing with length of service, up to 29 days n -The option to purchase up to 5 additional days of annual leave after one year’s service n -Company pension scheme n -Health and wellbeing programme n -Death in Service benefit n -Free onsite parking n n JBRP1_UKTJ
