In this role you drive AECOM’s aviation growth across the UK & Ireland, shaping the three-year strategy and winning major opportunities. You will cultivate executive-level client relationships, align cross-functional teams, and lead flagship programmes to strengthen client confidence and repeat business. The role combines market leadership with delivery oversight to ensure profitable, safe, and high-quality aviation projects. You’ll work with global Transportation and Aviation teams to expand capabilities and unlock cross-border opportunities, making a tangible impact in the aviation sector.

Responsibilities
- Lead the three-year growth plan for the Aviation Sector across the UK & Ireland, identifying and converting priority opportunities.
- Own and execute the client engagement strategy with executive relationships to position AECOM as a long-term partner.
- Lead pursuit and capture of major aviation opportunities (> $5M), guiding early engagement and strategy shaping.
- Direct end-to-end work winning processes for strategic pursuits with multidisciplinary teams to develop compelling proposals.
- Develop winning strategies leveraging global capability, technical excellence, and delivery expertise.
- Implement and optimize the hybrid Enterprise Capability and delivery model to maximize competitiveness and value.
- Expand AECOM’s aviation profile through industry engagement, thought leadership, and executive relationships.
- Collaborate with global teams to unlock cross-border opportunities and share capabilities.

- Proven success in pursuing and converting major infrastructure opportunities and strategic programmes.
- Established relationships within the aviation sector with credibility among airport operators and delivery partners.
