In this Senior Product Designer role at Bumble/Badoo you shape end-to-end experiences across core surfaces like onboarding, discovery, chat, and monetisation. Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for multiple surfaces, from discovery to interaction design and delivery
- Design monetisation experiences (paywalls, consumables, subscriptions) that balance user value with business impact
- Work in an experiment-led way, shipping changes as A/B tests with hypotheses and guardrails
- Contribute to modernising design foundations and the design system for consistency and quality
- Collaborate with PMs, UXR, data science, and engineers to frame problems, validate hypotheses, and evolve designs based on evidence
- Ship pragmatically in a lean team, prioritising outcomes over perfection and knowing when to push for ideal experiences
- Design for a global, inclusive audience across markets, languages, and devices, considering platform and compliance requirements
- Apply AI-powered tools to accelerate exploration, accessibility, and personalised experiences responsibly
- Give and receive design critique with precision, elevating work and modelling high craft standards
- Demonstrate Bumble’s core competencies and embody the company values in workflows and outputs
- Take full ownership of work, communicate proactively, and build trust with cross-disciplinary partners
Key requirements
- Experienced end-to-end product designer with a track record delivering thoughtful mobile experiences
- Strong product mindset—frame problems, connect decisions to user and business outcomes, think in systems
- Commercially fluent with monetisation experiences that feel integrated, not bolted-on
- Pragmatic about scope and comfortable in a lean, fast-moving environment
- Experience with experiment-driven design, iteration, and reasoning under uncertainty in a two-sided marketplace
- Strong visual and interaction design craft with polished, thoughtful outputs
- Intentional design process and ability to frame problems and design transitions with rigor
- Fluent in Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Grounded in inclusive design and accessibility; global mindset
- Curious about AI’s role in product experiences and apply tools responsibly
- Ownership mindset with proactive communication and collaboration across disciplines
- Typically 5–8 years of experience (alternative backgrounds considered)
