Multi Skilled Shift Engineer – Electrical Bias

Overview

In this role you deliver a multi-skilled maintenance service across electrical, mechanical and instrumentation systems for a Mitie client in London. You perform reactive and proactive maintenance, carry out modifications and installations, and ensure KPI targets are met while maintaining safety and compliance. You work with contractors and produce timely reports, upholding high standards of workmanship and health & safety. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position within a broader maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance across electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant
• Perform modifications and installations as required
• Maintain, repair and calibrate equipment to optimize reliability and maintainability
• Meet key performance indicators and liaise with contractors or external suppliers
• Complete required paperwork and produce reports accurately and on time
• Ensure work adheres to policies, procedures and health & safety standards
• Identify deficiencies in systems or equipment and address risks to service delivery or safety
• Oversee own work and supervise others where applicable

Key requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline)
