HR & AI Systems Architect

Overview

As the HR & AI Systems Architect, you will shape Fortive’s HR technology landscape and drive scalable, AI-enabled solutions. You will own architecture across Oracle HCM Cloud, Boomi, ServiceNow HRSD, Eightfold, LMS, and related systems, ensuring secure, API-first integrations and data flows. You will partner with HR, IT, and vendor teams to deliver future-ready capabilities that support global HR functions. This role combines enterprise architecture with AI innovation to improve onboarding, HR workflows, and employee experiences. You will lead architectural governance and mentor engineering teams, delivering measurable impact aligned to strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end HR technology architecture across Oracle HCM Cloud, ServiceNow HRSD, Eightfold, and LMS platforms with cloud-native, API-first roadmaps.
• Define integration strategy and lead hands-on implementation using Boomi as the primary middleware, designing scalable patterns and ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Identify and deliver AI and automation use cases across the HR lifecycle, embedding AI capabilities into HR workflows and maintaining governance for responsible AI.
• Design HR data models, MDM strategies, and data lineage, enabling secure, governed analytics access and data contracts across systems.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor to HR leadership and IT, translating architecture and AI concepts into business outcomes and guiding vendor partnerships.

Key requirements

• 10–12 years of progressive experience in HR technology and enterprise systems architecture.
• Deep Oracle HCM Cloud expertise across multiple modules and integrations.
• Proven experience with Boomi or similar enterprise integration platforms, including production support.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP, event-driven architectures, and data transformation.
• Proven success delivering AI/ML and automation solutions in HR or enterprise systems.
• Experience with ServiceNow HRSD, including case management and AI-driven capabilities.
• Experience leading or mentoring small technical teams.
• Available to work within U.S. time zones (CST).
