Head of Engineering & QA

Overview

In this role, you will lead engineering and QA across three squads, directing external partners and ensuring alignment with architecture. You’ll establish strong internal standards while driving modern CI/CD and automated testing to raise quality. You’ll reshape the QA strategy and bring order to fragmented tooling and processes in a dynamic tech environment. You’ll work within a senior delivery leadership context to mature engineering practices and support growth, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and impactful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate external engineering suppliers across a multi-technology landscape
• Establish and embed engineering and QA best practices across teams
• Define and implement a modern CI/CD pipeline with automated testing
• Assess and introduce AI-powered development tools to boost productivity
• Collaborate with architecture leadership to ensure technical alignment
• Bring structure and consistency to tooling and processes in a fragmented environment

Key requirements

• Strong engineering leadership experience in complex delivery environments
• Experience with Microsoft ecosystem, especially Power Platform or low-code/no-code solutions
• Solid understanding of test automation strategies and quality engineering principles
• Proven ability to standardize disjointed toolsets and processes
