Overview
As a hands-on electrician, you will own customer experience, installation quality, and health & safety across a growing renewable energy group. This cross-site role sets and enforces high standards for multiple teams, acting as the central authority for customer care, quality control, and safety. You will define standards, monitor adherence, and intervene when needed. The work supports cleaner energy adoption by aligning technical excellence with regulatory compliance and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define post-install customer care standards and lead complex cases, including complaints and warranty disputes
- Oversee post-install QC, installer performance, and defect investigations to inform training and product decisions
- Drive site safety and regulatory compliance, aligning with MCS, NAPIT, HIES, and ISO-aligned processes
- Serve as a senior escalation point for customer issues and accreditation risks
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term improvements across teams
Key requirements
- Qualified electrician with hands-on solar PV, battery storage, and electrical systems knowledge
- Experience in quality control, health & safety, or compliance within solar/renewable energy
- Strong knowledge of MCS, NAPIT, and/or HIES accreditation frameworks
- Ability to assess install quality on site and speak to electrical standards
- Experience leading complaint investigations and customer escalations to resolution
- Comfort working across multiple sites and managing relationships with site-based teams (no direct line-management)
