Overview

In this role you lead day-to-day delivery of hard and soft FM services across multiple sites, ensuring安全, efficiency and contract compliance. You’ll oversee operational teams, drive KPI achievement and service improvement, and manage planned and reactive maintenance. You will partner with clients and stakeholders to uphold safety, quality, and high customer service while scaling operations within the portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on compliance, performance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Area Site Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors and operations teams to deliver safe, efficient services per contract
  • Drive consistent service delivery across the portfolio and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Monitor KPIs/SLAs, identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and remedial works within agreed timescales
  • Support delivery of minor works and projects where required
  • Promote Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality culture and ensure statutory and contractual compliance
  • Oversee Permit to Work, risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work; ensure inspections and maintenance are recorded
  • Manage asset registers, maintenance records and CAFM data integrity; monitor asset performance
  • Act as primary operational contact for site-based clients and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Manage subcontractor performance, audits and safety compliance
  • Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions, ensuring training and competency standards are met
  • Support audits, compliance reviews and service improvement initiatives

Key requirements

  • Experience in Facilities Management, Estates Management or Building Services
  • Experience managing multi-site operations and leading hard and soft FM teams
  • Proven track record with contractual KPIs and service levels
  • Strong stakeholder and customer management skills
  • Driving and leading teams to high safety and quality standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems
