Overview
As Electronics Engineering Manager in Stockport, you will lead the Electronics Hardware Development team to deliver hardware for next‑gen laser products. You will shape engineering capability, processes and roadmaps, while partnering with software, firmware, project management and business stakeholders. You drive technical excellence and people development in a globally connected environment. This role offers influence over technology direction and the growth of Novanta’s engineering capability, with impact across products and markets.

Key requirements
- Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent
- Proven experience leading engineering teams
- Strong electronics hardware development background
- Full product lifecycle experience
- Technical project leadership capability
- Knowledge of EMC, LVD, RoHS and product compliance requirements
- Strong planning, communication and organisational skills
