Engineering Manager

Overview

As Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a multi-discipline engineering team to ensure design integrity and delivery excellence. You will implement robust processes, manage planning and budgets, and act as the technical reference for clients and regulatory bodies. You’ll coach the team toward continuous improvement and align engineering capabilities with project and sales needs. Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain robust engineering processes to ensure design integrity at all stages
• Oversee engineering work planning, progress monitoring, and change management
• Act as a technical expert and point of contact for clients, industry bodies, and regulatory authorities
• Coach, mentor, and develop the engineering team to foster a culture of excellence
• Manage project engineering hours and budgets to support sales, projects, and client needs
• Participate in lessons learned reviews and apply continuous improvements

Key requirements

• Degree in an applicable engineering discipline
• Proven experience managing and leading an engineering team
• Detailed knowledge of company products, systems, and relevant industry standards
• Understanding of ISO 9000 requirements as they relate to engineering processes
• Proficiency with engineering design software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MathCAD
• Excellent communication, planning, and administrative skills
• Desirable: Chartered Engineer status, experience in multiple engineering disciplines, knowledge of FEA and project management tools
