Overview
In this Finance Director role, you will lead the finance function across a multi-entity software group, shaping financial strategy and operations. You will own consolidation and reporting, drive cash flow and treasury, and manage banking relationships and audits. You’ll integrate newly acquired businesses, harmonise processes, and provide a consolidated view for the Board. This is a commercially focused, hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, acquisitive software environment. Your impact centers on delivering financial discipline, supporting growth, and enabling strategic decision-making across the group.

Responsibilities
- Manage the finance function across multiple legal entities and maintain books in Xero
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports to the Board with commentary on risks/opportunities and acquisition implications
- Lead year-end audit processes and liaise with auditors and external advisers
- Oversee monthly payroll with outsourced provider
- Manage renewals and contracting end-to-end in collaboration with the CEO
- Own group cash flow, forecasting, liquidity planning, and AP/payments workflow
- Manage banking relationships and covenant reporting with lenders
Key requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA) or equivalent track record
- Experience leading a finance function in software/SaaS/technology
- Strong hands-on Xero expertise; multi-entity accounting and consolidations
- Experience with year-end audits and ISO audit familiarity
- Understanding of revenue recognition and recurring revenue/renewals models
- Strong cash flow management and treasury capability
