Overview

In this role you will lead and shape controls and performance transformations for major programmes across UK and international clients. You’ll work within the Programme Advisory team to design, set up and optimise PMO and control functions, translating client challenges into actionable, data‑driven solutions. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver benefits, supported by established methodologies and digital tools. Responsibilities

  • Assess client environments to identify challenges and apply a structured approach to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Develop, implement and optimise PMO and controls & performance strategies and setups
  • Prepare reports to support findings and recommendations across engagements
  • Deliver workshops with senior client representatives in virtual and in-person settings
  • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams at client sites and remotely
  • Tailor methodologies, processes, tools and systems to specific contexts and drive continuous improvement
  • Support adoption and realisation of business outcomes through transformation products and approaches
  • Contribute to business generation activities (bids, proposals) and work with senior management
  • Identify and progress business opportunities; assist with marketing and employee advocacy campaigns

Key requirements

  • Graduate calibre with relevant industry experience
  • Experience on major capital projects/programmes in PMO/controls & performance environments (infrastructure sectors)
  • Familiarity with capability assessments across capital delivery, PMO or controls & performance functions
  • Experience with developing controls & performance integrated processes and digital solutions for a single source of truth
  • Ability to write and present reports and engage with C-suite stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Office 365; Visio; Miro; Slack; Teams; Oracle Primavera; PRISM; Power BI or similar tools
  • Change management experience is advantageous
  • Understanding of target operating models and organisational design in capital delivery contexts are advantageous
  • APM/ PMI or similar certification or equivalent experience is advantageous
  • Proactive issue identification and resolution
