Overview

In this role you will support world‑class clients on complex programmes by applying structured project controls and PMO expertise. You’ll work within a collaborative Programme Advisory team, delivering analysis, recommendations and workshops to drive tangible outcomes. You will contribute to transformation initiatives, develop client-ready reports, and help grow our advisory capabilities. This is a hands-on, impact‑driven opportunity to shape project delivery at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Assess client environments to identify challenges and tailor our approach to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Analyse and document findings and recommendations across engagement stages.
  • Lead workshops in virtual and in-person settings with client representatives.
  • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams at client sites and remotely.
  • Tailor established methodologies, processes, and tools to client needs.
  • Contribute to personal and team development through client work and internal initiatives.
  • Drive business development activities including bids and proposals with senior management support.
  • Engage in marketing and employee advocacy where appropriate.
  • Provide line management and development of direct reports where applicable.

Key requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in Project Controls with defence sector exposure.
  • Experience on major capital projects/programmes in PMO/controls & performance across schedule, cost, risk, change or reporting.
  • Familiarity with capability/maturity assessments across capital delivery, PMO, or related functions.
  • Experience writing/presenting reports and navigating senior stakeholder environments, including C-suite.
  • Proficiency with Office 365, Visio, Miro, Slack, Teams; experience with Oracle Primavera, PRISM, Power BI or similar.
