Overview

In this role you will lead large-scale built environment and construction projects in the London area, guiding junior colleagues and shaping client and consultant relationships. You will contribute to business growth through bids and client-centric delivery, while maintaining high quality standards across time, budget, and scope. The position sits within a diverse Project Management team focusing on corporate real estate and fit-out projects for blue-chip clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver transformational infrastructure and spaces that align with AECOM’s mission to improve communities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver project management assignments to meet time, budget, and quality targets while coordinating clients, consultants, contractors, and team members
  • Strengthen client relationships by delivering excellent service and aligning outcomes with client objectives
  • Mentor and develop junior team members and contribute to talent development and high-performance culture
  • Support bids and business development activities and engage in industry networks to share knowledge and grow the team

Key requirements

  • Substantial experience in project management within the built environment or construction industry
  • Experience managing projects with minimal supervision and autonomous delivery
  • Experience delivering corporate real estate and fit-out projects for blue-chip clients
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Leadership potential and client relationship expertise
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality consulting services and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Ability to manage junior resources and contribute to best-practice project management
  • Experience supporting work-winning efforts and bidding
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, adaptable to changing circumstances
  • Ability to participate in team management functions including line management and business development
