Overview
In this role you will shape Information Management strategies for a major defence programme, ensuring alignment with ISO 19650 and the Mace Way. You will lead the IM function across the project, driving assurance, standards, and effective information governance. You will guide teams, contribute to the Digital Centre of Excellence, and support bids with strong IM solutions. This position offers a cross-functional, impact-driven platform within a secure, regulated environment and opportunities to influence carbon reduction efforts. You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality information management outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Define and deliver IM strategies, standards (including ISO19650), and processes
- Establish and manage the project/programme IM function
- Perform assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts
- Provide expert IM advice and contribute to the Digital Centre of Excellence
- Contribute to bids with IM strategies and solutions
- Manage and coach multiple teams, driving KPIs and continuous improvement
- Performance management and career development of staff
- Collaborate to support net zero carbon transition and manage related emissions
Key requirements
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK security clearance
- IM leadership experience across multiple projects/programmes
- Information architecture, naming/numbering/filing, ISO19650
- APM IM certification or equivalent (Assoc of Information Managers)
- Subject matter expert in IM software: Aconex, Viewpoint, Business Collaborator
