Overview

In this HSE Advisor role at Aggreko’s Lomondgate Production Facility, you drive health, safety and environmental management, aligning with UK legislation and ISO standards. You’ll lead incident investigations, support risk assessments, and promote a proactive safety culture across cross-functional teams. You’ll coach colleagues, run training and inductions, and help deliver improvement initiatives that reduce risk. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and ISO standards (45001, 14001, 50001) and internal frameworks
• Lead and support incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Assist teams to create, share, and train on risk assessments; conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations
• Promote proactive safety culture through coaching, training, KPI tracking, stakeholder advisory, and leading HSE committees and improvement initiatives

Key requirements

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management (IOSH membership desirable)
• Operational experience in an HSE Advisor/Specialist/Officer role with leadership and coaching ability
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO standards; analytical, reporting, communication and training skills
• Organised, self-motivated, good time management; proficient with Microsoft Office and HSE management systems; manufacturing experience preferred
