Overview
As HSE Manager, you ensure legal, contractual, and company compliance across the client account while supporting a positive safety culture. You collaborate with operations and client stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance, manage audits, incidents, and risk, and provide expert guidance to leaders and staff. This role offers influence across the contract and opportunities to shape safety practices. You’ll operate within a flexible location model and contribute to a robust Integrated Management System.

Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for health, safety and environmental matters across the client account
- Support implementation and maintenance of Group HSE policies, procedures and standards
- Produce inspection and audit reports and track corrective actions to closure
- Support internal and external audits, including client and certification audits
- Lead and support investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses and environmental events
- Deliver health, safety and environmental briefings, toolbox talks and training sessions
- Prepare reports, dashboards and management information for contract leadership and client stakeholders
Key requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
- NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or working towards
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operational health, safety and environmental role
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the contract
- Membership of IOSH (TechIOSH, GradIOSH or higher)
