Overview

In this role you shape digital products for Citi’s global platform, partnering with Product and Tech to deliver best-in-class UX. You’ll guide discovery, research, IA, and design systems, translating insights into interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs. You’ll collaborate across stakeholders and development teams to ensure accessible, intuitive solutions at scale. Responsibilities

  • Lead meetings with users, sponsors, and tech to clarify project requirements
  • Conduct UX research, define IA and user journeys, and create personas
  • Identify metrics to support decision making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and validate ideas
  • Perform usability testing to inform design decisions
  • Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Sketch, InVision, Axure, and Adobe suite
  • Contribute to and apply the approved design system
  • Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG)
  • Provide detailed handover to development and ongoing UX support through checkpoints
  • Keep up to date with UX best practices and tools
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the UX community
  • Assess risk and ensure timely delivery with transparent escalation as needed

Key requirements

  • Proven relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Experience delivering with an agile methodology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly skilled in professional design tools (Sketch, Figma, AdobeXD, Axure, InVision)
  • Experience using design systems
  • Knowledge of banking or finance is a plus
