Overview

In this role, you will lead the bridge between Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate, timely payroll data flows to Tax, Treasury, and Accounting. You’ll simplify processes, drive automation, and strengthen controls across a global payroll transformation. You’ll work with Payroll, Finance, HR, and IT to deliver scalable, reliable data for finance decision-making. This is a high-visibility role focused on transforming how payroll information moves through the organization to improve efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities

  • Govern end-to-end payroll-to-finance processes ensuring accuracy and usability for downstream stakeholders
  • Simplify and modernize payroll data flows to reduce manual effort and improve data quality
  • Champion automation, standardization, and stronger controls to reduce risk and increase efficiency
  • Partner with Finance leaders to resolve operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for payroll accounting, reconciliations, funding, and compliance
  • Serve as a key leader in the global payroll transformation, shaping future-state processes and technology solutions
  • Support knowledge transfer and collaboration across Payroll, Finance, HR, and IT to sustain improvements
  • Ensure payroll data is reliable, scalable, and readily consumable by Finance teams across the enterprise
  • Drive measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of payroll-related processes
  • Reduce manual reconciliations and workarounds through automation and process improvements
  • Enable Finance teams to spend less time chasing data and more time using it

Key requirements

  • Strong knowledge of payroll accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, controls, and compliance
  • Experience leading process improvement, automation, or transformation initiatives
  • Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a global environment
  • Working knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll and FINS strongly desired
  • Travel up to 25% and onsite work requirement
  • Expertise in using payroll-related data to inform financial planning and reporting
