Overview
In this role you will lead regulatory compliance, risk assessment and policy development for a premier chartered accountancy firm. You will oversee compliance training, internal investigations, and statutory reporting across jurisdictions, supporting auditors and regulator interactions. As Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer, you will guide disclosures, records, and AML risk management. The role integrates ISO 9001 awareness with ongoing process improvements and cross‑functional collaboration to safeguard the business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day regulatory and statutory compliance and adherence to procedures
- Ensure operations align with AML guidelines and awareness across the firm
- Perform internal compliance investigations and audits with detailed reporting to Partners
- Manage transaction recording and timeliness per instructions
- Develop and deliver compliance training materials and ongoing training
- Advise management on compliance issues and process improvements
- Prepare regulator returns and notifications
- Involve in specialist projects with Partners to support business needs
- Maintain ISO 9001 quality management system awareness and documentation
Key requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an office environment
- Good understanding of compliance and its function
- Ability to produce accurate work in a fast-paced environment
- Project management and presentation skills
- PC literate with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
