Overview

In this Senior Electrical Design Engineer role, you will lead electrical and instrumentation/control design for water and related processing projects within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll drive EICA input, oversee site surveys, and ensure compliance with UK/EU standards while prioritizing low-carbon solutions. You’ll collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality, client-aligned solutions. Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and instrumentation/control concepts and detailed designs
• Conduct electrical site surveys to identify optimal solutions
• Lead EICA engineering input and review of design solutions
• Provide technical guidance on EICA matters to project teams
• Plan and implement projects with Delivery Management teams
• Lead and participate in safety studies
• Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Key requirements

• Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of British and European design standards
• Proven track record as Electrical Engineer in both design office and construction in water/related process industries
• Full UK Driving Licence
