Overview

As Senior Project Manager in Ramboll’s Wind Advisory UK team, you will lead Owners Engineering for onshore wind projects in the UK and Ireland, working with multi-disciplinary experts across international teams. You’ll manage the full project lifecycle—from origination to construction—while nurturing client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities. The role offers autonomy, site visits, and the chance to shape Ramboll’s growing onshore wind services in the region. You will drive technical and commercial success through collaboration and strong leadership, contributing to Ramboll’s sustainable-change mission.

Responsibilities

• Project manage onshore wind scopes including Owners Engineering in the UK market
• Lead client projects across origination, feasibility, development, construction and repowering
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across civil, electrical, environmental and procurement scopes
• Coordinate tender proposals with technical inputs from experts and junior consultants
• Support Head of Business Development with UK onshore sales activities and client relationship expansion

Key requirements

• Significant experience in project managing onshore wind farms across design, procurement, development and construction management
• Strong understanding of drivers for technical and commercial project success
• Experience in business development and client engagement
• Self-starter with ability to balance competing project, client, and business development demands
• Strong ability to build long-term client relationships
