Overview

In this role you drive growth by leading change programmes and bid proposals, shaping how new opportunities become executable releases. You’ll oversee the end-to-end lifecycle from bid to mobilisation and delivery, collaborating across functions to meet quality and schedule goals. The position sits within the Training Transformation Services team, contributing to transformation efforts and customer expansion in a regulated environment. You’ll build trusted relationships with customers and partners while championing best practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop executable delivery plans for new opportunities and oversee transition into service
  • Drive the full programme lifecycle from proposal to contract award, mobilisation and execution
  • Lead delivery across functions to meet quality standards and timelines
  • Manage complex proposals to support strategic growth and customer expansion
  • Identify and mitigate risks while exploiting opportunities to improve outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated delivery across programme elements
  • Champion PMX best practices and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Build and sustain relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Key requirements

  • Recent demonstrable experience delivering programmes in a regulated environment
  • Experience managing end-to-end bid processes and executable proposals
  • Strong commercial acumen aligned with strategic business goals
  • Demonstrate Raytheon leadership behaviours
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to navigate ambiguity and pressure
  • Confident communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders and technical experts
  • Creative and open to innovative problem solving
  • Experience of working in MOD and/or training
  • Desirable: Shipley trained or familiar with structured bid methodologies
  • Desirable: Degree in a technical or project management discipline, or equivalent experience
