Overview
In this role you will support a high-growth disputes boutique in London, handling a pipeline of high-value, international disputes for a sophisticated client base. You will work closely with senior lawyers to manage commercial litigation and arbitration matters, driving outcomes with autonomy in a premium, hands-on environment. The position offers clear career progression as the practice expands with complex cases, including matters involving HNW individuals, sovereigns and funds. This is an opportunity to shape difficult disputes in a smaller, specialist team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing civil and commercial dispute matters, including preparation and drafting of pleadings and briefs
- Support arbitration- and litigation-focused projects with limited oversight
- Conduct legal research, issue spotting, and fact-finding to inform strategy
- Liaise with clients and external counsel to coordinate case progression
- Contribute to case management and analysis to support junior lawyers and partners
Key requirements
- England & Wales qualified
- 2–4 years PQE (1–3 or 4–6 ranges also mentioned; choose most relevant)
- Strong grounding in commercial litigation; arbitration experience a plus
- Trained and qualified at a leading City or international firm
- Demonstrates technical excellence and sound judgment
- Thrives in autonomous, high-demand, smaller-firm environment
