• Annual Salary: £39,000 – £47,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Advisor to join our client. This role involves travel across the operating area, including occasional trips for team meetings. The ideal candidate will have a full driving licence, access to their own vehicle, and be comfortable with travel.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, delivering expert advice on HSE.




• Provide competent coaching and guidance, working collaboratively to drive continuous improvement.




• Promote visible safety leadership and implement initiatives to establish a strong safety mindset.




• Conduct safety visits in various settings, providing guidance, leading by example, and recommending practices for improvement.




• Offer support and expert advice on occupational health hazards and conduct in-field monitoring.




• Promote good environmental operational awareness and practices within the organisation.




• Engage with stakeholders to clarify and ensure understanding of HSE policies and procedures.




• Lead the incident management process, providing expertise in reporting, root cause analysis, and identifying preventative measures.




• Deliver HSE induction training to align new colleagues with the organisation’s safety vision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience as a health and safety advisor, ideally with a NEBOSH General Certificate.




• Proven track record in reviewing and developing health and safety policies and procedures.




• Skilled in incident classification and leading investigations.




• Ability to develop engaging safety training and workshops.




• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive and trusted relationships.
