Overview
In this role you will guide clients and their teams on cost management for iconic projects within our Sheffield Real Estate practice. You will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure best value for money while maintaining quality. You’ll handle feasibility, cost planning, procurement, and post‑contract cost control, contributing to project success and client satisfaction. This position offers exposure to high‑profile schemes and a collaborative, professional culture with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Assisting on feasibility studies and procurement reports
- Estimating and cost planning, including presenting cost plans
- Tendering and procurement management, including pre-qualification
- Managing post‑contract cost variances and change control
- Carrying out cost checks and valuations on large projects
- Producing monthly post‑contract cost reports for clients
- Inputting into value engineering
- Negotiating and agreeing final accounts
- Interfacing with clients and other consultants at all stages
Key requirements
- Proven track record in cost management / quantity surveying across full project lifecycle
- Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
- Degree or HNC level qualification
