A leading City and global law firm, with PEP comfortably above £1m and a strong track record of sustained growth, is looking to appoint an ambitious Corporate Real Estate Partner to join its expanding London practice. The firm has advised on many of the largest and most significant transactions in the real estate market, including around 15 transactions involving assets valued at £1bn or more. Its client base is exceptionally broad, ranging from major corporates, institutions and investment funds through to entrepreneurial and emerging businesses.The successful Partner will join a highly regarded team advising on sophisticated UK and international Corporate Real Estate matters. The practice covers structured and cross-border transactions, joint ventures, investment acquisitions and disposals, portfolio transactions, hotel leases and management agreements, as well as complex hotel portfolio sale and leaseback and sale and management-back arrangements. The ideal candidate will have a strong transactional track record, excellent market credentials and experience advising sophisticated institutional and corporate clients on high-value, complex real estate matters.
With significant global expansion having transformed the firm into a major international force, there is a clear opportunity for an established Partner of at least 4 years, with a reasonable and demonstrably portable client following to play a key role in the next phase of growth. The firm is particularly interested in Partners with the relationships, commercial profile and business-development capability to transfer a meaningful practice and build it further from the firm’s rapidly expanding global platform.
