Apprentice Calibration Technician
Triumph Motorcycles is looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Development Calibration Technician to support the continued growth of our new model programmes within the EMS & Emissions team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for motorcycles and automotive technology who is looking to develop their career within a world-renowned motorcycle manufacturer.
Working within our Design department, you will support a variety of technician-related activities including motorcycle builds, updates and testing preparation. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and technicians, gaining valuable hands-on experience whilst developing your technical knowledge and skills.
Key Information:
- Course: Motor vehicle service and maintenance technician – light vehicle.
- Course Level: Level 3.
- Location: Hinckley and a college within commutable distance.
- Length of course: Typically 27-months.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support technician activities across the department.
- Assist with motorcycle builds, updates and test preparation.
- Support projects as directed by the EMS & Emissions Team Leader.
- Carry out a variety of ad-hoc tasks to support development activities.
- Gain practical experience in motorcycle development and testing.
Requirements:
- Maths and English Grade 5 or above.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Genuine interest in motorcycles and vehicle technology.
- Previous experience within a motorcycle or automotive workshop environment is desirable.
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
