In this role you will perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems within a landmark London site, ensuring safe, reliable operation of building services. You will work with the facilities management team to resolve technical issues, uphold safety standards, and keep accurate maintenance records. The position offers a permanent role with a 4 on 4 off pattern, contributing to the efficiency and safety of high-profile environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues and repair faults
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Support the smooth operation of building services, including HVAC and plumbing systems
• Collaborate with the wider facilities management team to resolve technical issues
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential mechanical problems
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure documentation is up to date
• Provide technical advice and support to ensure effective operations

Key requirements

• Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Experience working within facilities management or building services
• Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to maintenance tasks
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, or similar mechanical systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
