Civil Engineer – Airfield Team

Overview

In this Civil Engineer role you support Ramboll’s specialist airfield civils team on UK and international projects. You will apply civil design expertise across all RIBA stages and work closely with a small, dedicated team to deliver innovative, sustainable outcomes for civil and military clients. You drive technical assessments, feasibility studies, and design of new infrastructure while balancing time management and review of CAD-produced drawings. Responsibilities

• Civil design at all RIBA stages for traditional and design-and-build procurement
• Manage your own time and the time of technicians
• Review drawings produced by CAD technicians
• Identify project risk and opportunity

Key requirements

• Experience delivering civil engineering services across all RIBA work stages
• Experience undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Experience delivering design of new civil infrastructure
• Experience reviewing, assessing, and designing alterations to existing civil infrastructure
• Willingness to work towards chartership
• Experience delivering civil design in line with Eurocode and UK Building Regulations
• Experience and understanding of CDM 2015, including Principal Designer role
