Safety Case Lead / Systems Safety Engineer

Overview

As Head of Safety Case, you lead the safety case approach from end to end, coordinating with Trust stakeholders and driving the programme to completion. You will manage close-out of HAZOP and HAZID activities and oversee the development and documentation of the safety case, incorporating outputs from safety assessments. You’ll also develop and deliver associated training and work with cross-functional teams to uphold safety and compliance. This role offers meaningful impact in shaping safe project delivery and continuous improvement within a client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and oversight of the safety case approach and communications with Trust stakeholders
• Lead the safety case programme through to completion

• Oversee development and authoring of the safety case, including outputs from HAZOPs, HAZIDs and other safety assessments
