Overview
As an Experienced Scientist, Engineer or Mathematician in AFRY’s Nuclear Business Unit, you will contribute to safety and reliability projects for a diverse set of domestic and international clients. You apply hazard identification, safety analysis and risk assessment to support licensing and design substantiation in nuclear contexts. You will manage projects, nurture client relationships and mentor junior staff, in a global, inclusive environment. This role blends rigorous analysis with commercial delivery, helping AFRY advance its sustainable energy mission.

Key requirements
- Science or Engineering degree in a relevant STEM subject
- Experience in the nuclear sector
- Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis, including statistics
- Ability to explain complex information clearly
- UK security clearance eligibility (British nationals)
- Business-oriented mindset and ability to work against budgets and deadlines
- Willingness to work away from home office on UK projects or abroad
