Quality Manager

Overview

As Quality Manager at Vestas Isle of Wight, you lead the Production Quality team to ensure product quality and reliability across 24/7 manufacturing. You will own quality standards, drive continuous improvement, and align with ISO 9001 and industry benchmarks. You’ll impact safety, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance through data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Production Quality team
• Oversee product and process quality across the factory for consistent high standards
• Manage preventive quality engineering and continuous improvement
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain the local Quality Management System and ISO 9001 readiness
• Manage internal, external, and customer quality audits
• Use quality data to drive continuous improvement and strategic decisions
• Represent Quality in strategic projects and stakeholder forums

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment
• ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification (minimum)
