Quality Manager

Overview

As Quality Manager, you own the site quality performance to support operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will lead the Quality Assurance function, partnering with Operations and Engineering to drive continuous improvements and enhance product quality. You will maintain the Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001 and foster a safety-first culture. The role targets reducing defects, NCRs, and DPPM while increasing first-pass yield and delivering lasting manufacturing and supply chain improvements. This is an influential, change-driven position within a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site quality function and align with Plant Manager on quality strategy
• Maintain and ensure ISO 9001 compliant Quality Management System
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across manufacturing and supply chain
• Reduce DPPM and NCR rates; improve first-pass yield
• Collaborate closely with Operations and Engineering teams
• Champion a culture where safety comes first
• support problem-solving and decision-making to balance short-term needs with long-term improvements

Key requirements

• Strong quality leadership experience in an engineered manufacturing business
• Deep understanding of ISO 9001 standards and QMS
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and HSE best practices
• Experience applying Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to balance short-term operational demands with long-term strategic improvements
