Overview
In this role you will drive cost-optimization and provide financial stewardship for Amazon’s Fulfillment network in Europe. You partner with senior operations leaders to shape investments, capacity, and cost strategy through data-driven analysis. You’ll tackle complex, ambiguous cost structures and build scalable measurement frameworks to raise productivity. Responsibilities
- Identify and drive cost-out opportunities across Fulfillment nodes by linking operational metrics to financial outcomes
- Analyze complex cost structures with limited data, sizing opportunities and advising leadership
- Lead root-cause analysis on systemic issues across sites, creating scalable measurement frameworks
- Act as trusted strategic partner to senior operational leaders to influence investment and cost strategy
- Own data source relationships and automation roadmaps, ensuring timely, decision-grade data
- Champion process improvements across the finance organization and raise analytical standards
- Oversee end-to-end performance reporting (daily/weekly/monthly) for EU fulfillment centers
- Travel within Continental Europe to benchmark sites and inform leadership decisions
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
- Experience in multiple finance/accounting roles or delivering results in large cross-functional initiatives
- Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Power Query, Python) or advanced Excel (macros, pivots, lookups)
