About the Role

Morgan Advanced Materials is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Technical Ceramics site in Stourport‑on‑Severn. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, supporting preventative maintenance activities, and helping to ensure our manufacturing operations run safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site facilities.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Maintain equipment including kilns, grinders, ball mills, compressors, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC‑controlled systems.
  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and improvements.
  • Assist with general facilities maintenance as required.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime and improve reliability.

About You

Essential:

  • Apprentice‑trained engineer or equivalent engineering qualification.
  • Mechanical maintenance experience with electrical qualifications to 17th Edition.
  • C&G 236 Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Desirable:

  • Experience maintaining manufacturing or production machinery.
  • Experience working at height (cherry picker licence advantageous).
  • Knowledge of health & safety and manual handling requirements.
