Overview

As Head of Stock Finance, you will lead a high-performing team to own end-to-end stock finance processes, ensuring robust controls and accurate reporting. You’ll drive automation, partner with cross-functional teams to resolve stock-related issues, and generate insights to improve working capital and decision-making. This role sits at the heart of finance, enabling sustainable improvements and a strong operating rhythm across the business. You’ll partner with Finance and non-Finance teams to deliver value and continuous transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on collaboration, accountability, and excellent service
• Own end-to-end stock finance process including period-end close, controls, and reconciliations
• Drive automation and process improvements to reduce manual work and enhance efficiency
• Partner across the business to resolve stock-related issues and implement sustainable fixes
• Generate actionable financial and operational insights to improve stock management and working capital decisions

Key requirements

• Qualified Accountant with strong knowledge of stock accounting and Record to Report processes
• Proven people leadership experience with coaching and development
• Strong process improvement experience across end-to-end finance processes
• Excellent analytical and systems capability
• Proficient in SAP, Excel and finance tech (Power BI, BlackLine, automation tools)
• Confident in business partner management and cross-functional influence
