In this Automation Engineer role at Tarmac’s Tunstead site, you will maintain and improve cement plant control and software systems, ensuring reliable operation. Responsibilities
- Prevent downtime due to control system faults
- Support installation of new plant equipment from conception to operation
- Assure integration of new systems into plant operations
- Assist Head of Electrical with development, review and implementation of control system SOPs
- Ensure robust risk assessment processes for control measures
- Develop server virtualization to assist testing of program modifications
- Assist in management and commissioning of new CAPEX projects
- Ensure control and software systems are managed via a continuous improvement methodology
