Blockchain Security Operations Vice President

Overview

In this role you will lead security operations for institutional blockchain infrastructure, focusing on proactive threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to safeguard digital assets, smart contracts, and on-chain/off-chain systems, driving operational excellence. You will apply advanced analytics and security engineering to evolve detection capabilities and incident response. Responsibilities

• Design and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance threat detection and protect digital assets, smart contracts, and blockchain infrastructure
• Monitor and analyze on-chain and off-chain data to identify vulnerabilities and compromises, aiding investigation, mitigation, and incident response
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a coordinated security approach across blockchain and enterprise systems
• Evaluate and improve security posture by tracking industry trends, on-chain threats, and regulatory requirements

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related fields
• 5+ years in cybersecurity operations focused on threat detection, incident response, and security infrastructure
• Proficiency with SIEM tools and advanced analytics; experience across multiple security domains
• Deep knowledge of network and infrastructure security; experience designing security solutions for on-prem, cloud, or hybrid environments
