Overview
In this role you will architect and build high-performance systems to coordinate swarms and process sensor data for unmanned systems. You’ll contribute to a greenfield command-and-control center, collaborating with cross-functional teams to connect backend infrastructure with robotic applications. You will optimize efficiency, scalability and reliability in distributed robotic setups and work on real-time data processing for drones. This is a chance to shape cutting-edge software and hardware for aerospace-grade use cases at a fast-scaling European scale-up.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build and support high-performance systems for coordinating swarms and sensor data.
- Develop real-time data processing tools and streamlined communication methods for robotic platforms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to connect backend infrastructure with robotic apps and sensors.
- Improve system efficiency, expandability, and dependability in distributed robotic environments.
Key requirements
- Production experience with Rust (2+ years) or contributions to production-grade open source repos.
- Experience with Tokio or other asynchronous frameworks (async.std, Smol).
- Background in C, C++, or Core Java; candidates from Scala, Erlang or Clojure are encouraged.
- Experience developing low-latency, high-throughput systems.
