Overview
In this role you drive safe, compliant process design for water treatment projects within Veolia’s ecological transformation agenda. You will work with cross-functional teams to win proposals and optimise plants, translating technical info into compelling solutions. The role blends design, commissioning support, and risk-aware engineering to deliver sustainable, scalable water tech. You’ll shape projects across markets, contributing to decarbonisation and resource recovery.

Responsibilities
- Support Sales, Marketing and Tendering with pre-qualification, proposals and post-tender submissions
- Use standard technical information and drawings; incorporate feedback from commissioning
- Prepare and validate process design docs (PFD, P&ID, process control philosophy) per standards and regulations
- Support commissioning and service teams to optimise plants and resolve process issues
- Supervise Design Engineers, Group Leaders and CAD Designers during proposal design and ensure timelines
- Ensure products/systems are safe, meet Health & Safety legislation, and provide risk assessments where appropriate
Key requirements
- Degree in Chemical/Waste Water Engineering
- 2+ years practical experience in water/wastewater treatment
- Experience with process design documentation and commissioning
- Good communication and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication (written and verbal)
- Interpersonal skills and ability to connect with people
- Ability to translate information into resonating statements
