Responsibilities
- Advise on UK statutory residence, long-term residence and tax regimes for private clients
- Create, structure, and UK-tax trusts and family investment companies
- Manage cross-border estates, draft Wills, and advise on succession and governance
- Provide complex tax and succession planning for international affairs
- Collaborate with senior advisers and partners on high-value matters
Key requirements
- 4+ years’ PQE (SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer)
- Strong experience in international tax and succession planning
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Able to manage a varied workload effectively
- Self-motivation, commercial awareness, and willingness to learn
- Experience supervising or developing junior colleagues
- STEP qualification (desirable but not essential)
