Overview
In this role you will join Chadwick Nott’s Succession & Tax team to advise on tax, estate planning and trust matters for a diverse client base, including HNW/UHNW individuals. You will manage an existing client base and contribute to business development across Bath and Bristol, handling high-value, complex probate, trusts, and Power of Attorney work. The position offers hybrid working and a supportive, inclusive environment within a full-service practice. You will collaborate with partners across offices to deliver client-centric, high-quality legal services. Responsibilities
- Providing tax and estate planning advice to a broad range of clients, including HNW and UHNW individuals
- Advising farmers, landowners and business owners on succession planning
- Managing complex probate and estate administration matters
- Advising on the creation, restructuring and winding up of trusts
- Handling Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Advising on Court of Protection matters
- Working closely with Partners and colleagues across multiple offices
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with relevant experience in succession, tax and estate planning
- Experience advising HNW and UHNW clients
- Strong background in complex probate and estate administration
- Experience with trusts, LPAs and Court of Protection matters
- Excellent client care skills and the ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a holistic, client focused manner
- Strong communication skills and the ability to supervise junior staff
