Engineer Consultant

Overview

In this role you will design, implement and support Azure-based solutions that scale with customer needs. You’ll deliver cloud engineering across Microsoft Azure and 365, combining hands-on delivery with testing, automation, and DevOps. You will engage with engineering teams and customers to ensure outcomes meet requirements and enable adoption of cloud and AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Azure-based solutions aligned to customer requirements
• Deliver cloud engineering across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, enabling modernization and automation
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to improve quality and delivery efficiency
• Support the implementation of Azure-based APIs, workflows, and integration services with DevOps and automation best practices
• Contribute to AI adoption initiatives and help customers leverage cloud and automation capabilities
• Collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and end users to refine requirements and support delivery
• Assist customers with operational readiness, adoption, and change management with customer-facing consulting support

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a Technology-related field
• 2–3 years of experience in cloud engineering, software testing, or Azure delivery projects
• Knowledge of software engineering principles using C# or similar languages
• Understanding of automated testing practices, test analysis, test management, API testing, and test documentation
• Experience with CI/CD delivery using Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling
• Awareness of AI agents, generative AI, Microsoft Fabric, and adoption-focused cloud initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional customer-facing presence
• Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in testing, automation, and customer deliverables
