Delivery Manager (Public Sector)

Overview

In this role you will lead complex technology delivery initiatives within Version 1, championing Agile ways of working and driving continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital transformation projects at scale, while shaping governance and stakeholder engagement up to executive levels. You enable predictable delivery, manage dependencies, and scale Agile practices across multiple streams. Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies and tailor approaches to team needs
• Analyze Agile metrics and optimize processes for faster delivery
• Scale agile practices across multiple workstreams and manage cross-team dependencies
• Maintain and refine product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Improve team velocity and delivery predictability
• Utilize Agile tools and reporting (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Stakeholder management across diverse audiences, including C-level
• Lead delivery management and project coordination in Digital Transformation projects

Key requirements

• 5+ years in technical project delivery
• Proven track record leading end-to-end Agile projects
• Experience coaching teams on Agile practices and enabling continuous improvement
• Strong facilitation and conflict resolution abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to executives
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority
• Experience with Agile, PRINCE2 or PMP methodologies
• Budget management and customer experience handling
