Vickerstock are working with a poultry business to recruit an experienced Poultry Farm Supervisorto take responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of a site housing approximately 37,000 hens for the Dungannon based farm.
This is a hands-on management role, overseeing flock performance, egg production, bird welfare and the overall running of the farm.

The Role
- Manage the day-to-day operation of a poultry site housing approximately 37,000 hens.
- Monitor egg production, flock performance and mortality rates, identifying and addressing any issues.
- Oversee the management and performance of the hen houses.
- Monitor bird health, welfare and overall flock condition.
- Manage and support farm staff, ensuring high standards are maintained across the site.
- Maintain accurate production and flock records and monitor performance against targets.
- Oversee farm maintenance and ensure facilities and equipment are operating effectively.
- Manage relevant farm audits and ensure compliance with required standards.
- Maintain strong standards across biosecurity, health & safety and animal welfare.
- Identify opportunities to improve flock performance and overall farm efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within poultry farming, flock management or a similar agricultural management position.
- Strong understanding of poultry production and bird welfare.
- Experience managing people and overseeing day-to-day farm operations.
- Good understanding of production performance, mortality and flock KPIs.
- Organised, practical and confident in making decisions on site.
It would be great if you have these but don’t worry if you don’t!
- Previous experience managing a large-scale poultry site.
- Experience with farm audits and compliance requirements.
- Relevant agricultural or poultry-related qualifications.
